Join us for activities in celebration of the
exhibition Mexico and Modern Printmaking.
Create a print, listen to a story, design your own papel picado, and
more. For the afternoon Family Activities (W, F, Sat), McNay Members
may reserve space in advance by calling 210.805.1768 by noon on Friday
before Christmas. Nonmembers may pick up remaining free tickets on the
days of the activities.
My name is Theresa Hale and I am the General Manager of Kuk Sool
Won Martial Arts at Timberhill. We will be opening a new program in
January to accommodate the hectic schedules of homeschooling. We are
going to open our doors (at a reduced rate) during the day to
homeschooler students and parents - of all ages.
We feel that martial arts is not only a great way to exercise - but
a way to enhance self-esteem and discipline. Our master, Mr. Daniel
Jolly, has been practicing martial arts for 42 years. He is a Master
in not only Kuk Sool Won, but Tae Kwon Do as well. We offer many
lessons that will expand on mind, body, and spirit.

San Antonio HERO will be hosting a National History Day Fair for Bexar
County homeschoolers on January 29th, 5:00 to 9:00 pm at the Semmes
Library. Winners of this fair will proceed to the city competition and
will have to potential to progress to the national level. You can find
out more information on the competition rules and requirements at
www.nhd.org.
To compete in the SA-HERO History Day Fair you must notify SA-HERO by
December 3rd and you will be required to complete registration form.
